Forsythiae D-Tox(Lian Qiao Bai Du)
The combination of Honeysuckle flower, Cape Jasmine fruit, Baikal Skullcap root, Densefruit pittany root/bark, Weeping Frosythia fruit, Red Peony root, Divaricate Saposhnikovia root, and Rhubarb root is often used to clear heat and toxin in the upper jiao. Symptoms commonly seen with heat and toxin in the upper jiao are, dryness of mouth and throat, swollen/tender gums, red and itchy skin. Recommended dosage:4 tablets each time, twice daily. Take with warm water.
