India, China to step up cooperation in traditional medicine
BEIJING: China and India have agreed to intensify bilateral cooperation in the field of traditional medicine and discussed ways to enhance mutual understanding of each other’s ancient treatment systems.
Nodal agencies were identified on either side to work out action plans and timetables, during discussions held by an Indian delegation of the government organisation AYUSH (ayurveda, yoga and naturopathy, unani, siddha and homoepathy) with their Chinese counterparts.
